ABOUT US
|
We began out of a
desire to bring grass-roots information,
assistance, and support to families whose lives
include a child with needs that are defined as
non-typical or “special.” We connect ourselves,
other parents/care providers, teachers,
specialists, doctors, and other agencies to
families in order to stream-line their search
for the treatment and education that they need
specifically for their child/children.
We have bi-monthly group meetings, formal
trainings, spokespeople, and more than anything,
a true understanding and empathy to what each
day brings to you, your family, and more
importantly to your child. We have all been
there and can relate to the path you are on!
We are both parents of special needs children.
We have had the great opportunity to meet and
bring together many, many other families to
learn from each other, support each other, and
primarily, to break the silence that surrounds
so many of us.
