A.C.T.S.N. Support Group Meetings
In the past we have held bi-monthly group meetings, formal trainings, spokespeople, and more than anything, a true understanding and empathy to what each day brings to you, your family, and more importantly to your child. We have all been there and can relate to the path you are on! At this time due to the demands of Kim’s career and Jenny’s medical issues we are unable to hold support meetings. Leslie Carter at Carter & Counseling PC. has kindly extended the invitation to any of our A.C.T.S.N. families who would like to connect one on one in a support group setting to come to her Thursday support group meetings. We are both parents of special needs children. We have had the great opportunity to meet and bring together many, many other families to learn from each other, support each other, and primarily, to break the silence that surrounds so many of us.
