Kim and Jenny are an inspiration and a huge
asset to special needs parents. From the time we
first got our diagnosis to today they have
helped and guided our family through a confusing
process. The have lent an ear when needed and
offered resources to help to help understand our
child better and the system better. Thank you
for all you do! It is so nice to know we were
not alone!

At age 2 ½ my son was given a diagnoses of
autism. Today, at age eleven, I can look back
over the years and see how many hurdles he has
overcome. He is truly an angel and the purpose
for my life. My passion is to advocate for him;
the best is always appropriate. Navigating the
world of autism is overwhelming for parents
because it is so pervasive. As a single mom it
has been an emotional rollercoaster and an
extremely isolating endeavor. A.C.T.S.N. has
been a true blessing in my life as I have been
able to connect with other parents who are
facing similar challenges. Coming together as
friends in a community to share resources and
stories is priceless. I take comfort knowing
that I am not alone and that I have this
terrific support group to help me through the
journey.
